Privacy

The assessment lives in your browser's local storage until you clear it. We do not require an account to see your plan preview.

When you unlock the protocol, we store an httpOnly cookie on your browser with your email and the time access started. That cookie is how the member pages recognize you. Checklist progress and the symptom log also stay in local storage on your device.

Photos you upload are saved so the library can show them. On a local or single-server demo they sit on the server disk. If a Vercel Blob token is configured, they are stored there instead. Don't upload images you wouldn't want on that system. You can avoid photos entirely; the assessment allows you to continue without them.

Payments are handled by Stripe. ClearNest does not store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy describes what they collect at checkout.

If an OpenAI key is configured, chat messages and an optional image are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. If no key is set, the guided coach answers on the server without calling a model. Don't send information you need kept out of a third-party service.
